PokitDok has announced that it has acquired the pharmacy and software assets of Oration PBC.
This acquisition enables PokitDok to support its pharmacy benefit data delivery so that organizations, providers, and consumers have the tools they need to make better healthcare and treatment decisions. These transactions will also be offered to participants in PokitDok’s DokChain network.
“This acquisition rounds out our healthcare enterprise business offerings by providing the necessary requirements to process commercial pharmacy benefit transactions that play such a meaningful role in the pharmacy supply chain,” said PokitDok CEO and Co-founder Lisa Maki. “It also puts us in an advantageous position to realize new supply chain efficiencies through DokChain as blockchain continues to become increasingly relevant in the business of healthcare.”
PokitDok, a McKesson Ventures portfolio company, streamlines the business of health by providing a development platform of APIs to process eligibility checks, claims, scheduling payments, identity management, and other business transactions.
