Michelle Snyder, McKesson Ventures’ Partner and host of the Breaking Health podcast, recently spoke with Atropos Health CEO and co-founder Brigham Hyde, PhD on an episode of the show. Snyder interviewed Hyde about impressive movements that companies have been making in the healthcare and medical technology industries, the significance of agentic AI in the healthcare space, developments specific to Atropos Health and the company’s accomplishments, and more.
CEO Brigham Hyde also took the opportunity to announce on the podcast that Atropos Health’s Alexandria™ Evidence Library recently surpassed 33 million novel evidence artifacts—a huge milestone indicating significant progress towards the company’s goal of addressing the large evidence gaps currently found across precision medicine. Hyde projects that the 33 million artifacts will increase to over 2 billion by the end of 2026, and reiterates the company’s ongoing commitment towards serving underrepresented patients, specifically by partnering with organizations to introduce streamlined workflows for physicians and medical professionals. This, in combination with Atropos’ other initiatives, will help to fill evidence gaps and prioritize the needs of both patients and providers across the larger precision medicine field.
Founded in 2019 and based out of Palo Alto, California, Atropos Health has quickly made a name for itself operating across 18 clinical specialties with its Rapid Analytics, On-Demand Insights, and Evidence-Based Care offerings. This was the first time that Atropos’ CEO Brigham Hyde was featured on the Breaking Health podcast—a show that includes “investor insight [and] revealing conversations with the most disruptive CEOs in healthcare” and has spanned over 170 episodes to-date.
