Unforgettable, the UK’s leading authority on dementia services, has teamed up with Lloyds Pharmacy to provide a range of dementia aide products to Lloyds customers.
The collection includes seven products designed to make the lives of dementia patients and their caretakers easier, such as a 2-in-1 day clock, an easy eating kit, 35-piece jigsaw puzzles, and a shining star cube designed to calm and soothe restlessness.
The partnership launched after research revealed that half of Britain’s population are more fearful about having to care for someone with dementia than they are about getting dementia themselves. By 2025, an estimated one million people in the UK will be living with dementia.
“It’s been a five-year dream to get these life-changing products onto the high street and from today, for the first time anywhere in the world, these previously hard to come by dementia products will be easy to find as paracetamol or toothpaste,” said Unforgettable.org founder James Ashwell.
Unforgettable is a McKesson Ventures portfolio company that provides more than 1,000 simple solutions on its website to make dementia sufferers’ lives easier.
