Health concierge startup Accolade adds IT muscle with new CTO

After raising more than $70 million in Series E funding, Accolade’s latest move involves filling two executive-level positions.

The health concierge has appointed Harish Naidu as its new chief technology officer. The startup company has also elected Phong Nguyen as its new executive vice president of product management.

Both Naidu and Nguyen have decades of experience working in the tech field. Their expertise will be used to transform complex industry processes into innovative, simple solutions.

Naidu has more than 20 years of experience under his belt in software industry product development. Before joining Accolade, Naidu was the executive vice president at Globalscholar/Scantron. Prior to that, he worked at Microsoft for 22 years, where he was the general manager of multiple products and strategic initiatives.

He will now be in charge of designing and leading Accolade’s product potential. Naidu remains optimistic about his new role, and believes in the company’s mission of making healthcare more accessible.

“We want to bring this capability to millions of lives,” Naidu stated. “The wellness space is multi-billion dollar industry. There’s a trend in the consumer space to really take some control around their wellness, and employers are providing incentives.”
