Montage Health, a California-based non-profit network, announced on Tuesday that it has chosen the Xealth digital health platform as its new primary medical system. Known for its prominent role in the digital health space, Xealth provides a variety of services to its users including centralized medical technology, process automation, integration into existing healthcare workflows and more.
“Montage Health works across our communities to keep people healthy and connected,” says Jill Reyes Tiongco, MD, FAMIA, chief medical information officer of Montage Health. Dr. Tiongco went on to discuss the benefits of the Xealth platform, primarily its ability to combine all of their existing medical technologies to create an all-in-one workflow. This greatly increases efficiency within organizations, and allows the patient experience to be much more optimized and pleasant as a result.
Mike McSherry, CEO and co-founder of Xealth, expressed his excitement at the opportunity to be working with the Montage Health network. “Xealth helps reduce steps for the [healthcare] provider, freeing them to do what they do best – care for their patients”, he said as part of Tuesday’s announcement. “We are thrilled to work with Montage Health, making it easier to leverage digital resources, and deepening the connection between patients and care teams”.
Established in 2017, Xealth has quickly become a major player in the digital health industry. It features significant investment backing from organizations in and around the healthcare field, including Advocate Aurora Enterprises, Atrium Health, Cleveland Clinic, MemorialCare Innovation Fund, Cerner, McKesson Ventures, Novartis, Philips, and ResMed, in addition to Providence Ventures, UPMC and the Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Health Network.
