Technology-enabled cancer care provider Reimagine Care recently announced that it has entered into a collaboration with the Tampa General Hospital (TGH) Cancer Institute, in which the two will be expanding access and increasing quality of care for oncology treatment throughout Tampa Bay, Florida. This will be achieved by integrating Reimagine’s AI-based virtual cancer care program into the existing Tampa General oncology services, in an effort to improve continuity of care for patients, reduce workload strain for providers, and better meet the demand for robust and modernized cancer treatment throughout the state of Florida. It was also announced that TGH Ventures, the investment division of Tampa General, has made an investment in Reimagine Care to further strengthen the partnership between the two companies.
Reimagine Care CEO Dan Nardi expressed his enthusiasm with the announcement, stating in the company’s press release that “Partnering with Tampa General, a nationally recognized cancer center, intensifies [Reimagine Care’s] mission to transform how cancer care is delivered.” Dr. Abraham Schwarzberg, MD, Executive Vice President of Network Development & Chief of TGH Cancer Institute, also shared his excitement, saying “By partnering with Reimagine Care, we (TGH) gain both a dedicated team and powerful technology that allow us to anticipate and intervene before symptoms worsen, lowering hospital and [emergency department] visits while maintaining the highest levels of care and patient experience.”
Founded in 2020 and based out of Nashville, TN, Reimagine Care has established itself as a leader in at-home oncology care, as well as the creator of an advanced AI-enabled care platform that can partner with oncology providers to greatly reduce treatment and administrative burdens.
