Newsweek’s list of the World’s Best Digital Health Companies is a collaboration with Statista, and the inaugural rankings were released on April 25, 2024. The goal of the list is to inform potential patients and medical providers on which products, services, and data suppliers are most reliable in a vast industry.
The 2024 list includes 400 digital health companies based in 35 countries that are helping to transform health care. The companies are divided into seven distinct industry categories:
- Data Analytics
- Diagnostics
- Health Records
- Medical Management
- Prevention
- Telehealth
- Treatment
To land a spot on the list, digital companies were assessed in areas like financial performance, traffic data, the overall impact of the business’s product or service, and the leadership team’s level of expertise.
This year’s list included several of McKesson Ventures’ portfolio companies, including Aetion (Data Analytics), Aledade (Medical Management), CancerIQ (Data Analytics), Komodo Health (Data Analytics), and Xealth (Health Records).
