Kyruus announced that it has expanded its patient access platform to enable customers to offer online consumer scheduling for COVID-19 vaccine visits. The vaccine scheduling capabilities are available within the company’s award-winning online scheduling solution. Almost 10 health systems have already activated vaccine scheduling with Kyruus, cumulatively booking more than 100,000 appointments in the first month alone.
Kyruus enables healthcare organizations to offer intuitive online scheduling with its Kyruus ProviderMatch for Consumers solution for websites and mobile apps. Coupling rich, search engine-optimized profiles with a dynamic care search experience, the cloud-based solution helps organizations simplify patient access and deliver differentiated digital experiences to both new and existing patients.
Kyruus customers have the flexibility to offer online scheduling in ProviderMatch for Consumers through direct integration with their EHR platforms or through Kyruus’ stand-alone appointment management solution. Both options provide a user-friendly booking experience and allow customers to incorporate validation questions to confirm that the person obtaining the appointment meets current criteria to get the vaccine. These solutions are available to both new and existing Kyruus customers.
“ProviderMatch was integral to our ability to quickly deploy online booking for COVID-19 vaccines as soon as we were ale to start offering them to healthcare workers across our communities,” said Christen Castellano, vice president of customer experience channels at Banner Health. “With support from Kyruus, we’ve been able to deliver on our commitment to friction-less access even in the face of complex and rapidly changing circumstances.”
“It is an incredible honor to support our customers as they bring these life-saving vaccines to their communities and partner with us to offer a consistent, straightforward, and scalable consumer booking process,” said Kyruus Chief Technology Officer Chris Gervais. “We look forward to helping many more healthcare organizations rapidly deploy our solution in the weeks ahead to streamline access to vaccine appointments.”
