Landmark Health has been recognized as a Best Place to Work in Healthcare for the second year in a row. The designation, given by Modern Healthcare magazine, is based on employer benefits and policies as well as employee engagement and satisfaction.
“Landmark is a relatively young company,” said Landmark President Chris Goldsmith. “We started seeing patients in 2014, so to already receive this national designation two years in a row is a strong testament to our employees and the company we are building.”
As a medical provider, Landmark specializes in delivering care to patients through house calls. These on-site visits have been shown to reduce hospital admissions by as much as 40 percent.
Landmark employs a wide range of medical professionals, including behavioral health specialists, palliative care experts, pharmacists, nurses, social workers, and nutritionists.
“The people who thrive at Landmark are those who have a personal purpose that aligns with our mission of delivering comprehensive care to patients wherever and whenever they need it,” said Dr. Michael Le, Landmark’s chief medical officer. “This recognition is meaningful because it shows that having a singular focus on providing the absolute best care for patients builds a strong culture.”
Already, the company has exhibited significant growth since its 2013 founding. Landmark now serves patients in thirteen states: California, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington State.
