SHYFT Analytics Appoints Joseph Tyers to Chief Revenue Officer

Leading cloud analytics company SHYFT announced today that Joseph Tyers will be its new Chief Revenue Officer. Tyers’ previous experience as Senior Vice President of Sales, Value Management and Commercial Operations at Medidata will provide SHYFT with a wealth of knowledge on quickly scaling life science technology companies.

While at Medidata, Tyers helped grow the company’s revenue from $4 million in 2003 to nearly $400 million in 2015.

SHYFT Analytics’ CEO Zackary King expressed his excitement at bringing Tyers on board, saying, “We’re fortunate to attract talented people like Joe. His proven track record of driving high growth across sales and business development channels, coupled with his deep life sciences experience is a powerful combination. Tyer’s previous company, Medidata is an investor in SHYFT Analytics, as is McKesson Ventures. In his new role at SHYFT, Tyers will provide executive leadership for all revenue-related functions.
