Great Place to Work and Fortune have named Aledade as one of the Best Workplaces in Health Care & Biopharma for the second consecutive year. This year, Aledade ranked at No. 11 on the list. The honor represents nearly 800,000 employees working in the health care and biopharma industries in the United States.
Great Place to Work, a global people analytics and consulting firm, evaluated more than 60 elements of team members’ experience at their workplaces. The criteria on which each company was evaluated include the extent to which employees trust leaders, camaraderie among team members, the fairness of workplace decisions, and the respect with which people treat one another. The rankings are based on employee feedback, and they reward companies that best include all employees, no matter who they are or what they do.
“Aledade’s mission is to empower independent primary care practices across the country, and that mission inspires the people who work here every day,” said Aledade CEO and Co-founder Farzad Mostashari, MD. “It also unites us, reminding us that our commitment to our partner practices, and our commitment to each other, will continue to stand firm in good times and especially [in] challenging ones.”
Aledade has continued to grow rapidly and it has instituted a series of company-wide initiatives whose goal is to strengthen the company’s culture and values (Service, Grit, and Inclusion) as it scales, and as the U.S. responds to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Health care and biopharma companies are crucial to helping our country through the current COVID-19 health crisis, where employees put their own health on the line to take care of others,” said Great Place to Work CEO Michael C. Bush. “Companies on this list have built a high level of trust with their people that will serve them well as they take care of employees and their families during a period of incredible stress, as well as the communities in which they operate.”
Other honors Aledade has won include ranking fifth on Fortune’s Best Workplace in Health Care and being named a Top 50 workplace of its size by Fortune and Great Place to Work in 2019, and being named a Top Workplace by The Washington Post in 2018.
