On July 2, real-world data healthcare technology company Atropos Health announced in a press release the publication of its new research paper, “Answering Real-World Clinical Questions Using Large Language Model Based Systems.” The paper offers a detailed look into the company’s new AI-powered healthcare database platform, ChatRWD™, which uses real-world data to answer a variety of medical questions, making the platform “[superior] over other large language models (LLMs) when it comes to trust, quality, and accuracy (limited hallucinations).”
Dr. Saurabh Gombar, Chief Medical Officer and co-founder of Atropos Health, expressed their excitement in the announcement in Tuesday’s press release, stating, “High-quality clinical evidence must remain the cornerstone of value in healthcare. We put our technology to the test, and the results were clear: ChatRWD has no alternative.”
Atropos Health’s President Neil Sanghavi spoke to the unique offerings of the platform, stating that because it is “Built on the core technology GENEVA OS, ChatRWD is not tied to any single LLM.” This offers distinct advantages over other similar platforms, as the lack of connection to any single LLM allows the platform to answer new and unique queries, in addition to medical questions that have already been thoroughly researched.
Founded in 2020 and based out of Palo Alto, California, Atropos Health has developed the “first physician consultation service powered by publication-grade real-world evidence,” as stated on the company’s LinkedIn page. The company’s new ChatRWD™ platform is currently being offered via a Closed Beta through the Atropos Health website, which users can request access to if so inclined.
